Richard Tallent, better known as Trick, is an American song writer. He posses a special skill for creating awesome Country Music.

Trick uses his talent to demonstrate to people how to “break free from bonds.” He would like for everyone to live in new cultures and he wants us all to get along.

His motto is, “People of color can be red, white, and blue.”

We spent some time with Trick. He was kind enough to answer a few questions for Hits You Love Radio.

What is your music background?

I’ve enjoyed doing covers for crowds of up to 300 people. I’ve yet to record, but I’ve written Country Western old school songs.

Who are your musical influences?

I’ve been influenced by Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, plus Dan Fogelberg and the 80’s band. Also, I like Crowded House on the Rock n Roll side.

Are you looking for to remain independent or to get a major label deal?

I want to remain independent as a songwriter since I don’t need the money or status. Honestly, I just like writing.

If anything, what would you change about the music industry today?

I would like to see the music industry to get it back to its great eras of the 60’s to 80’s. Today’s Pop Music, Hip-Hop, and Country all stink.
