Peerdom Atlas is into heartfelt lyrics. That makes us look forward to the release of his new music. “ExploD” and “Off The Track” are two highly anticipated singles that are set to be available on August 1st.

He began performing at the young age of five. Hard consistent work with his music instructor over the course of many years has help to develop an awesome work ethic.

We caught up with Peerdom the other day. He took time away from working on his new music to answer a few questions.

What is your music background?

I started in music when I was 5. I performed solos, and with groups in many settings, and got acquainted with the live music performance protocol through school events. I learned from the same music instructor for ten years, and I’ve grown in different directions that allow me to create more music than I sing.

Who are your musical influences?

Incubus, Justin Bieber, Green Day, Alanis Morissette, Halsey, Ellie Goulding, Bastille, Imagine Dragons, Marshmallow, Hozier, Sum41, Justin Timberlake, Drake, Incubus, Sublime

What are your long-term career goals?

I am going to continue performing, acting, and writing until I decide to go in another direction; I am interested in business administration an

What type of recording process do you use and who produced your recording?

I am really intimate in my recording; I don’t have a set standard for making sound. I work with many production sources, to create the most unique sounds.

Do you ever get the chance to perform live?

Yes, I’ve performed both on stage and in close quarters, intimate configurations.

Are you looking for to remain independent or to get a major label deal?

Independent; I’m not really relying on common labels (outside of my own) to make or break a music deal.

If anything, what would you change about the music industry today?

I like the new music wave, the new music that’s come out in the last six or twelve months. I think it’s prime time to hear some really heartfelt music, beyond the common pop expectation/vibe. Artists are writing more intimate, sincere lyrics than they were a few years ago in pop and hip-hop, and I’m really glad to see that.

Do you have any advice for up-and-coming artists?

Never give up. It’s not easy to make the moves happen in this industry, but it’s well worth the fight.

Anything else you want to say on the people?

I really look forward to introducing my singles, “ExploD” and “Off The Track” on August 1. Stay tuneD!
